Virtual Distance is an increasing challenge that modern organizations face and must master to be successful in the new global economy. One of the biggest challenges is maximizing productivity and innovation. Virtual Distance™ is the perceived distance between two or more individuals when their primary method of communication and coordination is not face to face.
Distance Leadership is a highly interactive one-day workshop that offers participants a unique set of management tools and practices. During the session Karen Sobel Lojeski explodes the myths that lead organizations down the wrong paths: paths that hinder growth and innovation.

Karen Sobel Lojeski is a professor at the College of Business at Stony Brook University and she is the founder of the Virtual Distance Institute. Karen is internationally recognized as the world’s leading expert on the virtual workplace, global leadership and virtual teams. She is the author of two related books. Karen is a faculty member at Wharton and has been working with several Ivy league universities.
