Welcome to a conference for managers and others engaged in businesses, projects and organizations changing big.
The Swedish Computer Society is organizing the first Lean Kanban conference in Northen Europe, in colaboration with Lean Kanban University. The theme and title of the conference is “Stop starting, Start finishing”, March 12-13, 2013.
The theme focuses on organizational, project and personal effectiveness – how to getting things done. All based on theories and practices of Lean and Kanban thinking & methods.
When the founder of the Kanban method, David J Anderson, suggested we organize a Nordic conference, I realized how perfect the timing is.
There is now an awareness of the problem of getting things done, among leaders as well as managers at all levels. An awareness that companies, organizations and people are suffering from structures and processes out of sync with the present reality.
Lean and Kanban thinking addresses this problem. There are today many methods, people and organizations that have been successfully inspired by this thinking in a broad range of businesses.
It is time to let some of them come and tell their stories, share their experiences and guide others on how to deliver, perform, thrive and manage changes in an ever more complex world.
It is time for us to act to make sure our organizations and businesses survive the future.
In a unique Nordic conference you will meet world leading experts on Lean and Kanban principles. In a two day program 20 speakers present the latest developments in their domains and how these are applied in practice.
Speakers in alphabetic order are David J. Anderson • Tom Johannes Bang • Bjarte Bogsnes • Magnus Dahlén • Anders Eklund • Karin Forsberg • Tom Gilb • Eleonore Hammare • Hermanni Hyytiälä • Mats Jegebo • Henrik Kniberg • Gaetano Mazzanti • Henrik Mårtensson • Staffan Nöteberg • Arne Roock • Maud Samuelsson • Erik Schön • Anders Sixtensson • Per-Magnus Skoogh • Rob Westrick.
