Stop starting, start finishing – Lean Kanban Nordic 2013

How can your business, project teams or IT organization get things done? How can an organization manage risks and time to market? How can a product or project organization do less and gain more?

Welcome to a conference for managers and others engaged in businesses, projects and organizations changing big.

Stop Starting, Start Finishing

The Swedish Computer Society is organizing the first Lean Kanban conference in Northen Europe, in colaboration with Lean Kanban University. The theme and title of the conference is “Stop starting, Start finishing”, March 12-13, 2013.

The theme focuses on organizational, project and personal effectiveness – how to getting things done. All based on theories and practices of Lean and Kanban thinking & methods.

When the founder of the Kanban method, David J Anderson, suggested we organize a Nordic conference, I realized how perfect the timing is.

There is now an awareness of the problem of getting things done, among leaders as well as managers at all levels. An awareness that companies, organizations and people are suffering from structures and processes out of sync with the present reality.

Lean and Kanban thinking addresses this problem. There are today many methods, people and organizations that have been successfully inspired by this thinking in a broad range of businesses.

It is time to let some of them come and tell their stories, share their experiences and guide others on how to deliver, perform, thrive and manage changes in an ever more complex world.

It is time for us to act to make sure our organizations and businesses survive the future.

Welcome!

Ulrika Park
